Obituary for Tommy David Dyson

Tommy David Dyson, 77, passed away, Friday, January 10, 2020 after a hard fought battle with T-Cell Lymphoma. Tommy was born and raised in Dalhart. He moved to the metroplex in the early 70’s to work for the Rock Island Railroad. Tommy retired in 1999 from the Union Pacific Railroad. He loved his railroad career, fishing, RV’ing and working in his yard. Tommy is very much loved and will be greatly missed and by his family and many friends. His wife and family would like to express their heart felt thanks for his care to all of his doctors, nurses and the Solaris Hospice Team. Tommy is survived by his wife, Brenda (Massey) Dyson; daughter, Stanja Clardy; daughter, Paige Haynes and husband, James; son, Monty Griffeth and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Kristi Claire, Justin Clardy, Heather Clardy, Hannah Martin, Parker Griffeth and Nate Haynes; great grandchildren, Braxton Martin and Evelyn Martin; brother and sister in law, Ray and Phyllis Dewitt Ryland; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
