Obituary for Santiago Silva

Santiago Silva aka Taco passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family in his home February 11th, 2021. At the age 65, knowing that he was loved by many and his legacy would live on in the hearts closest to him.

Santiago was born in Seminole Texas, November 2nd 1955 to Macedenio and Estafina Silva. He would later to go on to marry his best friend Romelia Torres (Rocky) in 1973. In 1976, Santiago joined the national guard served 13 years and got his GED. He was married to his wife of 47 years had 3 beautiful daughters, 9 grand children, and 1 great grandson. He was a man of many interests including having a nice cold corona, riding his harley, telling stories, collecting knives,singing his favorite songs, and hanging with his the brothers he made in the “The Last Few MC”. He was a man of many skills that included working in mechanics, welding and carpentry. They would call him a “Jack of all trades”. Santiago always made sure his family was taken care of, tackling any problem that came his way and taking pride of the family he created, always saying “PURO SILVA”.

He was a blessing to a lot of people and was not the kind of man you wanted as an enemy. “Thank the good lord” was what he always said when blessing others, and feeling blessed with the life that god gave him. Telling other that “the road goes on forever and the party never ends”. The Silva family would like to thank Solarise hospice for providing great care for Santiago up until the moment of passing.

Santiago Silva was preceded in death by his parents Macedenio and Estafina Silva, sisters Stephanie Jalomo and Anita martinez. One daughter Amy Lee Silva-Flores.
Santiago was survived by his wife Romelia Torres-Silva, daughters April Silva and Alisa Silva, nine grandchildren Emiliano Silva, Esai Silva, Ethan Silva, Eli Silva, Enrique Silva, Ebony Silva, Evan Silva, Emily Silva, Edward Matthew Silva, and one great grandson Isaac Santiago Silva. And numerous nieces and nephews.
