Tanya Augustus

Tanya Marie Augustus, 49, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, June 4, 2021 in Fort Worth. She was born June 7, 1971 in Sacramento, California. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Lavelle Josiah Johnson. Tanya was raised in the Del Paso Heights area and attended North Del Paso Junior High and Grant High School. She had a giving heart and volunteered with the Robertson Community Center, City of Sacramento Parks and Recreation where she was a mentor to children with disabilities. Around 2010 she moved to Texas with friends and later her family joined. Left to cherish fond memories are her mother, Darlene Benjamin; father, David Augustus; wife, Andreya Haywood; sons, Leslie, LeRon and Lavelle Johnson and Lamar Augustus; sisters, Janeya Gibson, Mylisa Gibson and Keisha Augustus; brothers, David Jr., Daniel, Isaiah and Eric Augustus; grandchildren, LeRon Jr., Lavelle Jr, Yahari, Lailah, Miah, Jazelle and Jhamari Johnson; niece, Jalisa Henderson and nephew, Anthony Lee Allen III; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and many friends.
