Queridos amigos y familiares, es con profundo pesar que les informo del fallecimiento de nuestra querida Elizabeth T. Caballero, conocida cariñosamente como Lizzie. Ella partió de este mundo el 15 de enero de 2025, en Haslet, Texas, a la edad de setenta años, habiendo recibido los santos sacramentos. Lizzie fue acompañada en sus momentos finales por su esposo, quien ruega una oración por su alma. "Lizzie fue una excelente mujer, esposa, madre, hermana y amiga de todos. Lizzie sacó adelante a su familia, educó a sus hijos y cocinaba excelentemente." Lizzie, te fuiste sin compartir la receta del tres leches y la ensalada de las monjas. Dear friends and family, it is with deep sorrow that I inform you of the passing of our beloved Elizabeth T. Caballero, affectionately known as Lizzie. She left this world on January 15, 2025, in Hasket, Texas, at the age of seventy, having received the holy sacraments. Lizzie was accompanied in her final moments by her husband, who kindly asks for a prayer for her soul. "Lizzie was an excellent woman, wife, mother, sister, and a friend to all. She supported her family, educated her children, and was an excellent cook." Lizzie, you left us without sharing the recipe for the tres leches cake and the nuns' salad.
