Thomas "Tommy" Cox

Thomas Edward Cox, 79, passed away, Tuesday, August 31, 2021. He was born November 8, 1941 in Dallas to Jake and Jewel (Fortner) Cox. They both preceded him in death along with his wife, Barbara A. Cox, siblings, Francis, Pat, Bobby and Delita, step-daughter, Shari Leck and grandson, Garrett Karle. Thomas served proudly in the US Navy and retired after 22 years of dedicated service. He later worked at Lockheed. He enjoyed fishing and going to the casinos and could be found a lot of time sitting on the front porch talking to neighbors. Thomas is survived by his daughter, Cindy Black and husband, Tim; son, Thomas Cox, Jr. and wife, Amy; sisters, Peggy Strain and husband, Roger and Sandy Raistrick; grandchildren, Kristin, Kayla, Maison, Merissa, Kimberly and Kelly; great grandchildren, Hudson, Logan, Addilynn, Carson, Faith, RJ and Timmy.
