James Martin Floyd

James Martin Floyd, 78, was born July 7, 1944 in Dallas. He passed away peacefully at home in his warm bed with his loving wife by his side in Weatherford, after a long illness. James was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Opal Floyd and sister, Loretta Smith and husband Jack.
James retired from Vought Aircraft after more than thirty years. He loved the outdoors, the mountains, and especially western movies. James had a very good life and was well loved by his family and friends. He will be missed and his memory will always be cherished by his family and friends. When you think of James Floyd, you can’t help but smile. He was unforgettable.
James is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Wanda Floyd; sister, Mary Alice Thompson and husband, Harold; son, Rodney Floyd and wife, Judy; stepson, David Bloyed and wife Becky; step-daughter, Cynthia Yadwisiak and husband, Gerald; and grandchildren, Gabby Floyd, Miralee Martinez, Eric Bloyed, and Jordan Floyd along with many nieces and nephews.
