Jetta Gray

Jetta Faye (Davis) Gray, 78, passed away, Monday, December 11, 2023 at home. She was born January 17, 1945 in Newport, Arkansas to Ora Jay Davis and Dorothy Faye Simmons Davis. They both preceded her in death along with her devoted husband of 48 years, Hank Gray and sister, Dorothy Laverne Walls. Jetta grew up in Alvarado and was a little ahead of her times. She had a strong will and nothing stood in her way. Jetta was an accountant by trade and lead several children and grandchildren to study and to follow in her footsteps in accounting. In her younger years she was a singer and played in a band. She loved her family and was always there to help with the births of her grandchildren, staying weeks to help out and enjoying every minute of it. You could always find her at big events such as birthdays and weddings. Jetta will be deeply missed by her family. She is survived by her children, Jay Gray and wife, Sandy, Pam Rose and husband, Doug, Hank Gray, Dean Gray and wife, Liz and Ken Gray; brother, Goose Davis; sister, Kythryn Kirkland and husband, Tommy; 5 granddaughters; 1 grandson; 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
