It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful man, Ted Hedger. Ted was loved by so many. Always ready to cook and share his famous briskets on his self-built OSU smoker. He loved watching his son, Ryan marry the most beautiful girl, Marijana. Shortly after, he gave away his lovely daughter, Taylor to a great young man, Jake in a beautiful beach wedding. Then came his beloved grandsons, Alex, Brody, Carson and little Beckett. Ted then became known as Big Papi to his precious grandsons. Ted, a former veteran, was awarded a beautiful quilt through the Hearts of Valor, of which life-long friends, Ken and Lizzy were a part of. Ted was famous for his butt-dialing. He'd either act like he meant to call you or just say "I didn't call you", like something was wrong with his phone. Ted is survived by his wife of 42 years, Roxie, his son, Ryan and daughter-in-law, Mari; Daughter, Taylor and son-in-law, Jake; four grandsons, Alex, Brody, Carson, and Beckett; brother, Keith; niece Kelly; niece Eva; nephew, Edward and his wife, Sandy; and many friends. And we can't forget his corgi, Lily. He will be greatly missed.
