James Wayne Jaecks, (also known as Jim; Jimbo) born on December 11, 1952, went to his heavenly home on Friday, August 27, 2021.
He was a beloved father, son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather but always known as Pappa to his grandbabies.
Jim graduated from Azle High School and worked hard his whole life in construction and carpentry. He loved growing his vegetable garden, planting flowers and had quite the green thumb. Jim loved spending time with his family and was well-known for his Donald Duck voice. Children would be mesmerized hearing him speak and thought he really was Donald Duck. His Christian faith was very important to him and he made sure to spread the word of Jesus to others around him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben Jaecks, Billie Sue Bradford; sister Barbara Spindor; and ex-wife Dolores Ann Jaecks. He is survived by his daughter Tammy Sue Schultz, husband Chuck Schultz; sister Shirley Maxwell, wife Kim; brother Bob Jaecks, wife Sherri; grandchildren Brittney, Cameron and Hunter; step-daughter Mary Garza, step-son Joey Morales; great-grandchildren Kenzi, Haizlee, Timothy, Joseph, Abigail, Samuel and Kaylee.
Jim was the type of man that would literally give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He will be greatly missed by so many lives he has touched. We take comfort in knowing he now at Jesus’ side.
