Fredrick Locke

Mr. Fredrick Worth Locke, 84, passed away, Sunday, March 24, 2024. He was born November 29, 1939 in Auburn, New York. Fred lived with his siblings until he was about 5 years old. His family then relocated to the Tampa, Florida area. There he married and had two children with his first wife. In 1972, Fred met the love of his life, Betty Miller. They married that year and spent 51 wonderful years together. They had one daughter. During his time in Florida, Fred held a few positions before retirement including delivering for Coca-Cola Company, managing a restaurant, and owning his own construction company. Fred was successful in each level of life. He loved building EVERYTHING, playing golf, and loving his family with all his heart. During retirement, Fred and his wife, Betty lived in Arkansas for 10 years and then they settled in Springtown, Texas for the last 9 years of his life. Mr. Locke’s final resting place will be in Florida. Fred is survived by his wife, Betty; daughter, Kim Setser; son, Fredrick Locke, Jr; daughter, Tyna Atchison; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
