Howard Wynne McElroy passed away on March 9, 2021 at the age of 71 in Springtown, Texas.
Born on September 16, 1949 in Tyler, Texas and later residing in Dallas, Texas.
For those that were fortunate to know and love him, know his smile would light up the room and his laughter was contagious. His quick wit and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
Wynne was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Wynne McElroy, his granddaughter, Carlie Michelle Nugent, his parents J.D. McElroy of Tyler, Texas and Jackie Clayton of Tyler, Texas. Diane Gilbreath, the Mother of his children and his life-long friend, John Henry Neel. He is survived by his three daughters, Melissa Wells of Springtown, Texas, Christina and husband Scott Janecka of Corsicana, Texas, Stephanie and husband Chris Nugent of Harrisburg, NC. Wynne was also greatly loved by 7 grandchildren Cole Wells and wife Hayli, Clay Wells, Kalie Crocker and husband Kyle Crocker, Brooke Janecka, Brynne Janecka, Cayla Cochrane and husband Nick Cochrane, and Michael Nugent; 4 great-grandchildren Beckham, Cannon and Brooks Wells, and Lillyan Crocker. Life-long beloved friend Colin “Joe” Clark of Los Angeles, CA; Brother, Daryl McElroy; Sisters, Beverly Green of Tyler, Texas, Jacquelyn Moose and husband Eddie Moose of Tyler, Texas, Nina Bell of Overton, Texas and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
