William Ridge

William Marivin Ridge, 85, a loving husband, father and grandfather, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday, November 9, 2021 in Decatur. A private family memorial will be held, please contact the family for more information. He was born July 18, 1936 in Bound Brook, New Jersey to William Ridge and Thelma (Allison) Ridge. They both preceded him in death along with his loving wife, Dorothy and daughter, Robin. William was an International Director for the Boy Scouts of America, an Eagle Scout, a Molecular Biologist, served in the U.S. Army and loved fishing and the outdoors. He is survived by his sons, William Ridge and wife, Debra and Robert Ridge and wife, Sarah; brother, Kenneth Ridge; grandchildren, Wendy, Laura (Brandon), Danielle (Mitch), Patricia (Niall), Hannah, Sara, Leandro (Michelle), Shilah (Craig) Brandon and Haliegh; great grandchildren, Angel, Gabriel,MaKayla, Alek, Amelia, Atlas,Dean, Isabella, Luca and Trafford.
