Robert Robbins

Robert “Fred” Robbins, 85, passed away May 18 in Ft. Worth. He was born December 8, 1937, in Wichita, KS, to Frank and Pearl (Thurman) Robbins. Fred was the youngest of four children. He is survived by his brother, Dick, in Dodge City. Fred attended a one room school and graduated from Wichita West High School in 1956. He loved all sports and was on an avid golfer for many years. Fred was on a state champion team in high school. In 1964 he met Kay “Nicki”, they were married that same year and he became Lisa’s “Dad at the same time”. His job of 25 years, at Reda Pump, took the family to many places. Fred loved people and his job. Having good times with friends is what he loved best.
