Jason Wayne Schulz, 48, of Boyd, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 8, 2022, in Decatur, due to heart failure.
He was born in Sikeston, Missouri on September 15, 1973. Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Naomi Hutchcraft, and paternal grandparents, Pat and Margaret Rowell.
Jason graduated from Elk Grove Village High School in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. He graduated from UTI Auto Mechanic School in Illinois and later he attained a Mechanical Air Craft license in Texas and was recognized on the Dean’s list for 2 semesters.
Jason had been a heavy equipment operator, was a mechanic and in the last few years also worked at Riley’s Oil Change in Boyd. He had a multitude of friends
Jason is survived by his wife, Laura; step-daughters Sarah and Meagan Terry; mother, Mary Bowden and step-father Bobby Bowden; brother, Gordon Rowell & his father, Michael Rowell. Jason had a multitude of close friends who were like family to him including Donald Cook and his family, Jeremy Young and his family.
