Frank Smith

Frank James Smith, was born on July 7th, 1951 and passed away at the age of 70, in his
beloved home in Graford, Texas on September 26th, 2021. He was preceded in death by his
parents and elder brother, LT. Frank is survived by his children, Megan and Dalton; and cousins of the Ranft family. He served our country during The Vietnam war, and spent nearly 30
years as a police officer, also assisting search and rescue as needed. He was also a bronc rider
in rodeos during his younger years, and met the mother of his children while working at a dude
ranch. Frank took great joy from all outdoor activities, especially hunting, fishing, camping,
boating, and scuba diving. He had a special passion for guns and mountain man rendezvous.
Frank never took moments of joy in his life for granted, and was never one to be caught sitting
still. He had endless compassion and patience for his loved ones, and will be remembered
fondly.
