William Smith

On December 31, 2023, after 90 years of life and love, our good friend Clyde moved on from this life. It was a Sunday morning, God’s day of rest. He was born August 19th, 1933. His parents Leo and Hester Smith (Grandaddy and Mama Smith) preceded him in death, as well as Dorothy Tomlin Smith, his loving wife of 35 years, his beautiful daughter Lisa Lynn Smith Rubio, his wonderful grandson Dakota Champion, two of his brothers and their wives, Curtis and his wife Bertie, and Carlos (Bud) with his wife Sue, his sister,Ima Smith Huckaby, and his brother David's loving wife Bonnie. They were all loved and will be missed. Clyde is survived by two brothers, David Mack, and Thurman with his wife Linda. He also preceded three of his children, William Clyde Jr (Bill) and his wife Jackie, his second son David Bruce, and his baby De'one Smith Champion, with her significant other Mark Tusch. Clyde had 10 grandchildren and 13 greats. Clyde was an intelligent, generous and humble Christian man. A good father. A thirty third degree Mason and a Shriner. All and all a good man.Loved by many. He will be sincerely missed.
