Billy Stinson

Billy Vernon Stinson, Sr., 81, passed away, Sunday, November 20, 2022 at home. He was born September 27, 1941 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to James Bufford and Ruth Pearlee (Reach) Stinson. They both preceded him in death along with his brother, James W. Stinson; and sisters, Mildred Miller and Betty Miller. Billy was a diesel mechanic by trade. He owned and operated BS&J Truck Service for 17 years. Billy retired from Penske Truck Rentals after many years of dedicated service and could be found tinkering in the garage. He enjoyed listening to country and western music. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Helen (Wooley) Stinson; sons, Billy (Jo) Stinson, Jr., Paul (Lynne) Stinson and Michael (Michelle) Stinson; daughter, Natalie Oshel; nephew, James Miller; grandchildren, Kami, Alyssa, Cole, Joshua, Matthew, T.J., Kaity, Dayna and Xavier; great grandchildren, Maddie, Natalie, Jaxx, Dani, Alivia and Alli.
