Al Willingham

Al Duane Willingham, 66, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024 at his home in Paradise. He was born August 19,1957 to Olen and Melba (Watson) Willingham in Decatur. His parents preceded him in death. He served proudly in the Navy for four years aboard the USS Dwight D Eisenhower as part of the original crew. As is naval custom the first crew have their name on a plank of the ship. Al was a kind and giving person who would give you the shirt from his back, if you needed it. He enjoyed fishing, collecting clocks, bike riding and spending time with family and friends. Al is survived by his sister, Diane Pierce and husband Jim; brother, Gary Lynn Willingham; nephew Ron Sudduth and wife Tammy; niece, Laurie Sudduth; great niece Zoie Sudduth-Garnica; nephew, Mark Whayne Sellers Jr. and great-nephew, Zane Sudduth along with extended family and friends. Al will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
